A world popular trail for trekkers, the mountain biking community has been exploring the Annapurna Circuit trek every year. This is not least because pushing and carrying distances are now manageable. We are on a forever bike ride with views of eight thousand Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. One of the highlights, but one nonetheless, is the physical challenge of crossing the 5,416 m high Thorong La. You can extend this step by letting the porters pass your bike as well. Muktinath can be reached after climbing 1600 meters. The rest of the route is pure bliss…especially in the grand scheme of things, relatively demanding, so only experienced bikers can book this tour with us! To reach Muktinath from Thorong Phedi , one has to cycle about 14 kilometers. During this cycling trip you will ascend ride about 1000 m and 1650 m descend.

Apart from Mustang we also offer biking tours in the countryside. Thus, plan a biking trip to go to the countryside where you can ride through green fields, picturesque hamlets, up and down hills, rivers, around temples, over suspension bridges and highways. Mountain bikes can be easily rented from the many bicycle rental shops in and around Kathmandu or Pokhara. Some of the popular routes for mountain biking in Pokhara are: around Phewa Lake Pokhara-Sikles, International Mountain Museum-Kotre, Pokhara-Sarangkot-Naudanda, Pokhara-Milanchowk-Dhampus, Pokhara-Thulakot-Ramkot-Talbesi, Pokhara-Sundari Danda-Begnas Lake.

  1. Day 1 Departure from home country to Nepal!

  2. Day 2 Kathmandu Arrival Day: Arrive anytime!

    Upon arrival in Nepal, Jagadamba Holidays representatives will welcome you at Tribhuvan International Airport with a Jagadamba Holidays placard (Jagadamba Holidays signboard). In case of late night arrival, private transportation to the hotel will be arranged by the representative. Clients will be notified of tour briefings and group meeting times by a representative.

    In the meeting we discuss the travel plans and services and introduce the trek or tour guide as per the itinerary. You must completely fill up a legally binding travel form and a non-liability disclaimer form. If any person’s tour payment is due, such person must pay at this meeting. Stay overnight at Kathmandu Guest House in Thamel.

    Breakfast at the hotel. Today is your free day for leisure or private activities in Pokhara. Phewa Lake, Barahi Temple, David’s fall, Gupteswor Cave, Vindhyabasini Temple, World Peace Stupa, Seti River, Buddhist Monastery, International Mountain Museum and Mahendra Cave are the tourist spots of Pokhara. Other attraction of Pokhara are Bungee, Paragliding, Ultralight flight and Zip Flyer. Stay overnight at the Hotel Middle Path & Spa or similar standard lodge in Pokhara.

  18. Day 18 Fly from Pokhara - Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel.

    Overnight stay in Kathmandu
    Travel by private vehicle from Lakeside to Kathmandu. Option available to fly from Pokhara to Kathmandu, which will be manage on request of customer. Stay overnight at the Kathmandu Guest House in Kathmandu.

  19. Day 19 Departure from Nepal: Depart anytime!

    After breakfast, you should leave your room and store your luggage at the hotel and relax in the hotel lobby or explore the surrounding local market for last minute shopping for friends and family until you head to the airport for your flight back home.

    Due to limited space at Kathmandu Airport, all airlines have requested to report at the check-in counter three hours before the actual flight departure time. Therefore, we will pick you up from the hotel three and a half hours in advance, as the estimated travel time to the airport is around half an hour.

    We hope that your visit to Nepal and the activities you do during your visit will remind you to visit Nepal again in the future. As per the service policy of Jagadamba Holidays, your journey will conclude with a farewell at the airport. Have a safe and pleasant journey ahead. Thank you, see you again!

Accommodation offered during the trip

The accommodation we use may vary depending on our package travel and the range of travel destinations. Before or after the trip you can book comfortable hotels in cities like Kathmandu and Pokhara for your stay. If you book a tea house trekking trip, we will provide a small two-bed room for sharing in the hill lodges which is a basic facility but very clean.

Now, better-equipped lodges are also available in Annapurna and Everest areas but we recommend trekkers to use accommodation above 3500 meters where clean rooms and clean food are readily available. Sometimes a level of flexibility may be required when trekking in remote mountain areas. We believe that you will complete your vacation without any problems and have the trip of a lifetime. If you book camping/trekking, our camping team will manage a comfortable camping site by the river where possible.

There will usually be a dedicated support team on the trip to move luggage and equipment, set up camp, and prepare your food. You will find more detailed information about travel accommodation which is mentioned separately in the lodging section of each vacation package page.

However, you can expect excellent service and high quality in any budget range you choose. You can learn more about different types of travel and their features and the proposed travel price by contacting us directly where we will be very pleased to answer your questions. We always try to choose comfortable accommodation with local character reflecting the best value based on twin share accommodation.

When you book a trip, unless you request a private single room, we will arrange for you to share a twin bed room with a person of the same gender. If you request a private single room, you will need to pay a single room supplementary fee. Please note that during the trek, if the destination is 4000 meters above sea level, only dormitory accommodation with private beds will be available. On trekking trips we try our best but do not promise guaranteed room options. For most of our camping trips, we supply branded two-person tents, including groundsheets.

Mess tent, kitchen tent, toilet tent, service plates, bowls, and all necessities are provided. Members of the mountaineering travel group are requested to manage according to the options given on the website.
