Nar Phu Valley Trek
Tourists know Nepal as a country of ‘peace and love never ends’. Due to its natural and unique cultural diversity, it is an attractive destination for tourists. Closed to pedestrians by the end of 2002, very few outsiders have discovered these almost untouched villages or climbed the 7,000-meter peaks around them. The Nar Phu Valley trek is a real Himalayan desert experience that is as unforgettable as it is spectacular. The trek starts as a regular Annapurna circuit but from Koto we turn northeast and follow Nar river to reach Nar Phedi and then we follow Phu river to Phu village. The Kang La pass will show a magnificent view of the Annapurna range and will also connect Manage and Near villages. There are two options to cross Thorong La from Manang village or return to Kathmandu. In the Nar Phu area you will have to stay in a basic lodge or guest house and in some places along the Gumba and Annapurna Circuit Trail you have the option of staying in a lodge.
