Ang Dawa Sherpa
Mr. Ang Dawa Sherpa (Dawa) started his career in Nepal’s tourism industry in 2006 as a trekking porter. After one year of experience, Mr. Sherpa was promoted to Kitchen Helper. Two years later Mr. Sherpa became a trekking cook. Mr. Sherpa has been working as a trekking guide since 2011 with new responsibilities.
He is permanent resident of Okhaldhunga area of Nepal. He has led foreigner trekking groups in western Dolpa and eastern Kanchenjunga, Nepal, and has trekked 80 percent of the Great Himalayan Trail trekking route. He is currently working as a trekking and climbing guide at Jagadamba Holidays Private Limited in Nepal. He has obtained a trekking and climbing guide license from the Ministry of Tourism of the Government of Nepal and the license number of the trekking guide is 10723. Mr. Sherpa has climbed Mount Manaslu and Mount Ama Dablam and many other peaks.
