In accordance with the Revised TIMS Provision, effective March 31, 2023, certain Protected Areas within Nepal require trekkers to be accompanied by licensed trekking guides and possess a TIMS Card issued by a registered trekking agency. The following delineates the trekking regions and routes subject to this regulation.

Thus, Prior to embarking on your trek, it is imperative to ascertain whether your chosen route necessitates the accompaniment of a trekking guide and possession of a TIMS Card. If affirmative, we advise contacting a Government-registered trekking agency to facilitate the arrangement of both the guide and TIMS Card.
For Trekking Agencies Only:
To procure TIMS Cards, agencies must complete a registration form, providing details of trekkers, guides, and trekking routes.Follow these steps to submit the form:
1. Please click here o register and fill out the form.
2. Ensure all mandatory fields are accurately filled.
3. Proceed to payment via the designated payment services (e.g., ConnectIPS, NepalPay, etc.).
4. Upon successful payment, an eCard with a QR code will be generated for each trekker.
The system is operational at all times.
Fees: NPR 1,000 for SAARC country applicants and NPR 2,000 for others, currently payable online.
