Your journey begins with an early morning departure from Kathmandu as you travel towards Pokhara by comfortable tourist bus. The drive takes approximately 7–8 hours and follows the scenic Prithvi Highway, one of Nepal’s most beautiful road routes. During the trip you will go along the rivers, terraced farmlands, lush hills, wayside villages and small towns which give an insight into the rural life in Nepal in everyday occurrence. Along the route, the bus makes several scheduled stops for breakfast, lunch, tea, and short rest breaks. As you continue westward, the busy atmosphere of Kathmandu gradually fades into peaceful countryside landscapes. At times, during fine weather you may even see distant views of the Himalayan range while driving through valleys and hill portions. Upon arrival in Pokhara, you will be transferred to your hotel near the Lakeside area, the main tourist center of the city. The second day begins early in the morning with a drive to Sarangkot, one of the most famous viewpoints near Pokhara. Located on a hilltop above the valley, Sarangkot is well known for its spectacular sunrise views over the Annapurna Himalayan range. As the first rays of sunshine slowly kiss the peaks of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail Mountain), the surrounding area is transformed into a stunning vista of golden mountains, green slopes and valleys filled with clouds. The serene setting and fresh mountain air make this one of the most memorable parts of the trip. 

After spending time enjoying the sunrise and mountain scenery, you will return to Pokhara for breakfast before beginning a full day of sightseeing around the city. The tour includes visits to some of Pokhara’s most popular cultural and natural attractions. One of the highlights is Phewa Lake where you can appreciate the peaceful surroundings and the lovely reflections of the mountains on the lake.
